Whether it's a holiday abroad, a work trip or a long weekend on the island, planning your pet's care early takes the stress out of travelling. Here's the checklist we share with our clients.
Two weeks before
- Book your sitter early. Holidays and long weekends fill up fast, and bookings made 24 hours or less before check-in carry a rush fee.
- Confirm your area. We match you with the sitter nearest your home in Metro Manila, Luzon or Boracay.
- Check vaccinations. Pets need to be up to date and free of contagious illness.
- Schedule a meet & greet so your pet knows their sitter before you leave.
A few days before
- Buy enough food, treats, litter and medication for the whole trip, plus a few extra days.
- Write your pet's routine and quirks on one page.
- Leave your vet's details and an emergency contact.
- Prepare keys, codes and guest passes.
- Complete full payment to confirm your booking.
On the day
- Keep goodbyes short and calm; long goodbyes can make pets anxious.
- Leave something that smells like you, like an old T-shirt in their bed.
- Keep your phone handy for the first update.
While you're away
Relax. Your sitter keeps your pet's routine and sends photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your trip.
